This is not the Trump Towers!

A friend told me about this site and I am so glad I am able to express my thoughts about Warwick House on here.

I have lived any many apt complexes across the country and I do have to say that the apt was nice. However, the staff seems to think that they are renting apts for Donald Trump and have the attitude to go with it.

I lived there for a year, and I am so glad I got out. Don't let the new, brick building fool you. Yes, it is new and clean, but you also have to deal with the staff while living there.

They are not flexible what so ever about anything. So, don't even think about asking. They work bankers hours and if you live in Warwick II, there hardly was anyone in the office. Also, tenants in Warwick I are not allowed in Warwick II and vice versa. ...guess we don't want to mix the residents.

Forget about using the club house after hours like many other apt complexes, or you will pay per hour. Check around and you will find nicer complexes offering their club house after hours for tenant use.

If you have more than one car, expect to pay $100 a month extra and if it is bigger than a Honda, good luck finding a space to park in.

When you move in, you better make your 3 hour window to move in, or forget it. They do not let you move in or out after 5..you have to make an appt and that can be a challenge if you have a moving company.

The apts are nice, but the staff make it uncomfortable and somewhat stiff. I harldy ever saw any staff smile and talking on the phone is very unpleasant for the most part.

And a last note, check the crime reports in the area. A guy was car-jacked in front of the building last year. Also, the walk to the metro can be dangerous late at night. The other apt complexes in the area have shuttle to the Metro, but not Warwick House. You walk behind a warehouse. There have been a few robberies in the area lately. Being close to DC, the major roads and the Metro makes the area more prone to crime than other areas in DC. ....just get a crime report from Arlington, VA and it will speak for itself.

But the staff is one reason I did not renew my lease. I am very much happy where I am now, pay less rent and get so much more amenities and friendly staff. Tip: if you are moving into a place, stop some of the tenants and ask them what they think.
