Do the people that whine about Warwick staff being ?unfriendly? want these folks to run around like Edith Bunker all day long tending to each tenant's individual whim and need' Come on! Yes, they had some problems early on (the high turnover in property managers hasn?t helped). Over the last year, however, I?ve noticed a significant improvement in customer service, probably because -- like Elvis -- the worst offenders have left the building.

The present staff are friendly enough (Suzanne quickly comes to mind) and helpful when they can be. Don't forget that they have many other existing and prospective tenants to deal with as well. Sorry you can't be the center of their universe 24/7.

The maintenance staff is perfect ? best I?ve come across anywhere. I don?t think they are appreciated enough by the tenants.

Yes, the rent increases are higher than average and we get no additional value for our money. Life ain?t fair, either. But, the staff -- particularly Jason ? really do try to be as accommodating as possible about it. If you don't want rent increases, buy a condo with a fixed rate mortgage.

Parking is cheap and available. Period. Given where we live, we should just thank our lucky stars for it, too.

Utilities are obnoxiously high all over the D.C. area -- so complain to the regulators not Warwick, et.al.

Bottom line: If you want management staff whose sole purpose is to disingenuously kiss your ass or a ?community? chock full of frivolous amenities -- like silly little pool parties once a month -- then this is not the place for you. But, if you want to live in a building that is well-constructed (well?except for the cheap wall paint in the units), convenient, quiet and comfortable, then give this place a closer look.
