Overall a good place to live. The apartments are clean and the building is well-built and well insulated. The metro and various driving routes are convenient. This is the only complex I've lived in that didn't nickle and dime me at move-out time. I'd rent there again.
The downsides:
- Parking spots can be tight. I'd be worried about bringing a new car here.
- Gym equipment in mediocre shape.
- The building is near decent hotels that fill with veteran bikers on holidays. They'll sit in the parking lots and rev their engines, which is intrusive even inside the otherwise quiet apartments. I was nowhere near ground level.
- There was one guy working in the office who was a pain. But he was not the manager, so he could be avoided.

is heat/ac individually controlled or is it a shared bill for the building?

Err... scratch that... newish. I think they were built in the early 2000s or late 90s.
