New Management is Unfriendly and Responsive to Needs

I just moved out of the Charles Smith Archstone "White Elephant" of a building on January 14th 2005. The new management is awful. Maybe they are --- and do not like women' I do not know. They prance around in cheap suits and do not listen to your needs. They play friends to the maintance crew and ignore the tennants needs. They had NO holiday decorations in the building this year making the place look like a morgue.
Half of the time the heat, electirc and hot water is out. The appliances in the apartments are old and do not work half of the time. My fold up closet doors and washer area doors fell down atleast once a month.
This building looks attractive but has mold, mice, piled up trash in the trash room, soiled carpets, dusty atmosphere and SLOW
MAINTANCE response.
Noisey Socer Teams and High School Bands practice in once quiet park which is DIRETLY across the way from the apartments. The other sideo fothe apartmens face a noisy street and the mall. Sierns are constantly "shouting" down the street. There is a fire station across from the park which is across from the apartments. The maintance people do not speak english so they do not know what you are complaining about. The huge windows in the apartments are cold and offer a good "peeking Tom" atmosphere into other apartments due to the structure of the building.

I lived here for 2 years and left for many reasons, such as some mentioned above. But, was the --- comment really necessary???
