Not bad for the price, quite whining.

For the money, I don't think you can find a better deal. The 1 bedrooms are spacious, and any problems are usually fixed by a nice guy named Jesus. Anyone who complains of price obviously hasn't seen what other apartments are running in the area, and has no comprehension of what a truly bad apartment is. These apartments are of average quality, but the halfway convenient location and more than fair price is enough to sell me.
The management is like all apartment management, if you are friendly to them and take 10 minutes every once in a while to chat, they bend over backwards and fix your problems the same day. If you are a jerk, they treat you like one. Lot's of people complain of awful management without realizing they are being an awful tenant. I've had no problems in the 2 years I've lived here because I've been civil and reasonable.
The utilities do get shut off every once in a while, but it's usually only a couple of hours and it is during the day. If you actually have a job, you never notice them off. The A/C was shut off once, for a couple hours, no big deal at all. Anyone familiar with the law of heat conduction knows that it takes more than a couple hours to heat a well insulated apartment complex to the temperature outside, so it never got too bad indoors.
No complaints.

While the apartments are spacious and the management is friendly, this takes a distinct backseat to NOT HAVING AIR CONDITIONING IN THE SUMMER. This is not just for a few hours while at work, this has lately, been for days at a time!!!

Indeed. The person who wrote the initial review is almost surely not a bona fide resident. The statement that the A/C has been shut off once is parently untrue. The A/C is broken about 25% of the time, and it's often 80-90 degrees in individual units. Ask an actual resident at the building when you're thinking about renting here.

Also, toolio, some people have jobs that aren't from 9-5, so when the water is shut-off when they're trying to get ready for work, it doesn't work so well.
