Convenient, safe, comfortable - and takes dogs! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 10/23/2007 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   With a large dog, the options for housing in Northern VA are terribly limited. Fort Georgetown seems to do fairly well because they take dogs - it seemed like all my neighbors also had pets. They're great about enforcing cleanup, so it's not a hassle to non-pet owners. Otherwise, very safe, clean, convenient apartment complex, with good access to Metro and major commuter routes, jogging trails and parks (including one that becomes a dog park every morning), shopping and restaurants in Arlington, and an easy walk to Georgetown. I wish we'd had laundry in the building, but otherwise no complaints.
