The Park at Arlington Ridge has been a very nice experience thusfar. The existing buildings are gorgeous. The kitchen/breakfast bar is the key to the room, and the wiring/utilities are well done. I have not heard a peep from my neighbors, and I have never heard noise from 395, which is easily within earshot.

The rental and office staff are very cordial and nice. The day before I moved in, I detailed several dings and unfinished areas in my unit. By the time I arrived, everything was in top shape. One issue I do have is that when I moved in, the cable plugs were not wired properly. The Comcast tech had to go get tools from his truck to install and activate the cable and phone for me. I have not gotten my Smart Card, but I have not pressed on this issue. I was never told I could not have it, but they did not go out of their way to get it to me.

The complex is still under construction, but each week, there is more work done, and any eyesores (unplanted trees, gaps in the sidewalk, large dumpsters) are moved. They are also about 70% through the clubhouse and pool, which will be nice for the summer.

With the expansion, there is a growing parking problem. I believe this stems from tennants with multiple cars parking in the lots. I was assured that once the units are filled, the complex will assign one spot per unit close to each person's building. That should eliminate that problem. I see parking as a huge issue into the future.

Overall, the area is nice and safe. Security is on hand from dusk until dawn. Maintenance is effective, and the decor is beautiful. I can't complain too much about my stay thusfar. I will reserve final judgement until construction is complete. If you can get in, get in now. Prices rise every few months, and units will go quickly.
