A bit rocky toward the end, but overall good

I lived at the Park at Arlington Ridge for 2 years, and moved out this year due to my roommate moving out and the 1 bedrooms seeming too expensive. Overall, my stay at the Park was positive. Yes, parking was difficult late at night, and there was only 1 dumpster nearby, which required a bit of a walk through dark areas. However, the neighborhood was very safe, my neighbors were friendly, and the grounds are lovely. The only real tangle I had with management came immediately after I notified them that I wasn't renewing my lease a second time. While changing my filters, they saw fit to do an on the spot inspection, which lead to an insulting letter criticizing my housekeeping. This seemed like a very subjective critique, and the things they cited (clothes on the floor and dishes in the sink) were trivial. Just a a heads-up! Also, I moved out almost a month ago and still haven't gotten my security deposit back; this could just be a delay though.
I would recommend this place to anyone, just watch yourself for that last month. I can't quarrel with the emergency maintainance (they come to fix urgent problems almost immediately), but management did stop providing replacement lightbulbs for the track-lighting, and those are expensive! Not a surprise, given how expensive it is to live there anyway. Overall, I think you get what you pay for here.
