The apartment complex tried to charge us for a full months rent when we moved in on the 25th.
They do random apartment searches and claim it's maitenance.
Their 'pet friendly' attitude is ridiculous. $500 non-refundable deposit and $50/month 'rent' for a cat. That's absurd.
If you refer a friend, they promise $250-$700 cash reward but in order to collect you have to constantly harass them and fill out a ton of paperwork. Poor policy.

Random apartment searches? Is that even legal? I thought the purpose of maintenance was to be available when the TENANT has something that needs maintaining, not to make sure the place is kept up to par according to MANAGEMENT'S standards. How often do these searches happen and can they be prevented?
