The wife and I have lived at the complex for a few months now since our move from Texas and the overall apartments are not too bad. Just a few things to point out to prospective leasees: inside the apartment the walls show every scratch (probably lousy paint),parking is an issue late at night during the week and We have had a friend come by one night for 2 hours and got towed.

We have received noise complaints for having a few friends over before 11pm (Their cut-off time)and the police showed up. During the night you can hear quite a bit of noise. If you don't believe me during the apartment walkthrough, have someone stand outside the apartment with you inside, close the door and see if you can hear them. You will be surprised !! Come on leasing office you can tell when the leasing agents write reviews. A great community so typical..

Just like the other reviewer stated a few months ago the apartments aren't necessarily luxury. The buildings are from the 50's and are recently remodeled. I had 3 light bulbs go out in the first month of moving in with the track lights focusing on the kitchen. Also no one obviously paid attention to the noise complaints since we have spoken to several of our neighbors and they have gotten complaints as well.

The neighboring areas are mixed with one side being somewhat classy near the Fraser Park area and the other side is to be honest a heavily Spanish area with some shady areas with a lot of construction and trashy cars. We have never had any problems though even late at night, Gold Gym and the grocery store are nearby and that is a key. The Grocery store pretty lousy but hey you don't have to drive there.

The shuttle service isn't too bad either and the driver is always friendly, the only drawback is the time frames they run the service from 6am-9am and then 3:40pm till 7pm. They do not have weekend coverage. We have some great neighbors who let us know when they are having parties and it doesn't bother me and the wife.

If you are an adult over 30 that travels and are low-key I would recommend the place however if you are a home body and enjoy having people over they I would not recommend the place....I am recommending the place due to its location to D.C and also some of its upgrades such as new utilites Frigerator, stove, carpet, etc..
