Don't talk to -------!!!

As the poster below noted, yes, the deals and specials to get in are pretty good, if ------- would be honest about them!!!

We got a 2 bedroom 1 bath unit and moved in this fall. The place is clean and they will change the light bulbs throughout the house for the first month. The walls are thin and you can constantly hear the dumpster, if you are unlucky enough to live near one at all hours of the night and day. You will hear water running in your neighbor s bathroom and the noise near the front door of people coming and going can be deafening.

The real complaint is this. There staff- minus ----- knows nothing about their policies and procedures. Asking ------- a simple question like what do we have to do to move out has led to numerous, conflicting responses. The biggest scam that they do not fully spell out is if you have to break your lease. They say that there is a 60 notice period and a $500 charge. They don't tell you that in addition, you have to pay two full months of rent beyond the two months that you have to pay during the notice period. This little surprise nearly cost us $6,000 dollars.

Please ask questions, lots and lots of questions, and write things down. ------- will say one thing and then someone will have to correct that. It is truly sad.

Misinformation has been an epidemic at The Park since it opened. No one knows the policies on anything, and more often than not the actual answer is far worse than what they tell you. However, unlike other apartment complexes who will still honor the word of its staff even if they were wrong, The Park acts like its hands are tied. Nonsense. One time they told me they couldn't actually give me the garage parking deal I was "accidentally" quoted because of the Equal Opportunity Housing laws. WHAT!?!? Now that's sad.
