I've been reading all the bad reviews and all I can think is "Are they talking about a different place'"

I've lived here since Sept of 2003 and I love living here. Sure, I pay a lot of money in rent. But I can walk to Vietamese, Italian, Thai, Japanese, Lebanese, Chinese, and Korean restaurants. Plus there is a Maggie Moo's (ice cream), Starbucks, Creperia, and two great bars (that actually have GREAT food!). In the winter, there is an ice skating rink! And in the summer, there is a beautiful courtyard to hang out in.

Of course, the metro is super close and I walk to the Harris Teeter grocery store every day (I know the employees by name).

The leasing center staff is fabulous! When I dropped my keys down the elevator shaft, they quickly made me an extra set with their own key grinder. Then they called me the next day to tell me that my keys were recovered. They organize great trips to see the Baltimore O's, white water rafting, etc. When our toilet overflowed afterhours, I called and maintenance was showed up 3 minutes later!

I know that many people belong to Bally's, but I love the fitness center! Besides the wonderful indoor pool, I can always get a treadmill when I want it!

My only complaint is the parking lot. The parking garage is very poorly designed. Many of the parking spots are very NARROW! The corners are very sharp, so you have to drive slowly.

I mostly hate the non-residents who park in the garage. When they are leaving they will block the entrance and then I can't get into the garage. In the end, they always move (after my honks and dirty looks) and the parking attendent has come out of the station on many occasions to intervene.

If you can afford to live here, and you value city life, you should definitely consider Post Pentagon Row!!
