DO NOT LIVE HERE! I have moved from this place but wanted to share some comments with you!
1) MICE - this was the ultimate that finally broke the camel's back...I finally moved out! I lived on the top floor and kept my studio clean with no food on the countertops. I came home to mice going in and out of my stove top range. The management put in mouse traps and disposed of the mice where there were at least 5 total. The management would not let me out of my lease even though I had to move out of there for 3 weeks while the rest of the family were being caught. I had quotes like "there are just field mice" and "it's not like they are running over your food!). I went to my next door neighbors and they also have seen mice in their apartment. This is disgusting and a health violation. It does not deserve that high of rent and my respect.
2) Poor construction - I got complaints of noise violation when I simply was walking in my apartment! The walls are so thin that they actually served me a 21 day notice for walking in my own apartment. I work long hours and get up early. I do not have loud parties or many guests to be stomping in the apartment. It was shotty construction to blame!
3) Fire alarms at all hours.
4) The management were rude!
NEEDLESS TO SAY, DO NOT MOVE HERE

My girlfriend lives at Pentagon Row and she also has problems with mice. She is currently sitting in the apartment at 6:00 pm with the mouse behind some furniture. The building maintenance personnel will only take a message which will be handled in the morning. The leasing personnel add no value to this situation as well. I suggest that she take a picture of the mouse and stand outside the leasing office, showing the prospective residents the picture of their new roommate.
I also concur with the poor construction. You can hear someone walking and the closing of cabinets in the next apartment.
