Very happy so far.

I have been at the Potomac Towers since September 2005 and so far I have been very happy. It is an older non-renovated building but nice for the price (all utilities are included!). The appliances are older, but I am not much of a cook so it does not really bother me. I do miss not having a dishwasher though. The heater is old-school, one of those high-medium-low does not turn off on its own kinds, but it works well. I havent been here for warm months but I am hoping that the AC unit will be about the same. Another wish would be for ceiling fans. The windows are also very old.
The staff is friendly. They say hello but mostly keep to themselves. Maintenance is ok, Ive only had a few issues.
The location is great if you work in Dc or need to get on 66. It is still within walking distance to the metro, clarendon, and georgetown. It is very quiet here as well. Surprisingly, I rarely hear the 66 or Lee Highway traffic.
The parking is awesome. I return home late and there is always a space available in the back lot. And it is free for visitors too!
The amenities could use some improvement, but if it can keep the rent low it doesnt bother me. The gym is more of a room with a few pieces of equipment and a tv but they have a huge pool. As far as I know, they do not have a business center.
Overall, this is a great place for price and location.
