having lived in potomac towers since 2001, i am starting to experience serious rate increases. just now, for the year 2006, they want to increase my rent by 70 dollars. how can they justify this' the place is a b-graded apartment building in a good area. oh, and let me tell you about the cockroaches, they are everywhere. no dishwasher! only for 2 bedrooms (which are really 1bedroom and a closet). management does not like to hear about the cockroach problem and most of them live on site. I'd like to see their amenities...i'm sure they have the latest available. have been asking for a new floor in the kitchen for over a year. They keep giving me a lousy answer. And when they did repair the floor, the maintenance worker (who lives also on site) complained to us that the floor is just fine. Unbelievable! Of course it's fine for him, he doesn't pay rent!
It's time for potomac towers to either shut down or do a major rehaul of construction.
Oh, yeah, the so called aircondition only comes on in May when the owners feel like its time to turn it on. This is the south and it does get hot in April not May.
Do not rent here! Go and buy a TH or condo. Rent in Nova is way out of control.
