I moved into this building after a divorce, mostly because of the (very) reasonable rent. I've stayed more than 4 years because of that, but also the view, the location, the pool, the staff and the ambience. (For one thing, I love the many languages you hear in the elevator, and the varied nationalities of residents.) It's an old building but has so much going for it. If you can get in, do it.
