I've lived here for a year, and I really like the building. It's very quiet at night and in the early mornings, and even though there are renovations ongoing, they occur during business hours so I have never been bothered. The front desk staff are all friendly and helpful, and the maintenance crew has come to my apartment within 30 minutes each time I've called. It's an old building with solid construction and I prefer it to the sterile (and far more expensive) apartment buildings in the area. I've never had a problem with parking - even when I come home late at night, there are always spaces in the back of the parking lot which is pretty well lit. I've never had bugs, mice or mold - once a few birds perched on my windowsill, but that was very pleasant.

The heating and air conditioning is not the best, but as Virginia is pretty temperate, I don't see this as a huge problem. The area is very safe and PT is right on a great bike path. Since all of the utilities and parking are included in the rent, this is really the best value in the area.
