I went with my friend to look at apartments today. We walked into quincy plaza, where we were greeted and asked what sort of apartment we were looking for. I wasn't looking but my friend was, he said 'one bderoom', really not thinking about it, I said 'one bedroom', too. At that moment I thought, this guy is going to think were --- I better tell him I'm just tagging alone. Before I could, the guy said, 'some one will be right out to help you.' I guess he was so digusted with the fact that he would be renting an apartment to people he thought were ---, he had to leave and get some one else to help.

This rating is really disappointing. Did you at any time think that maybe not everyone is a lease consultant? Did you ever think maybe the person was on their lunch break? Have you ever thought about what percentage of people in that area truly are "---", or God forbid say the word ---? If you thought twice about that situation, you would realize there are probably a million reasons why an employee would need to get another associate to help you. You are another contributing member of what is so discouraging about this society. Stop being so closed minded. Stop playing the victim.

Regarding the review/rating from the two guys above, I tend to agree. I bet the leasing guy wore glasses, hispanic decent, because when my son and I (we are black) came to see an apt. around 1:30 pm or so we had a similar experience. We were greeted promptly by a young lady at the front desk. She went to the back ( to get us leasing help) and I was appalled that the guy came out and non chantly greeted us and then proceeded to talk and talk to us while we were seated. He was giving all the pricing/amentites features of this building..BUT never once did he offer to show us the model or an apt. His tone of voice was very short/abrupt. THAT'S WHAT WE WERE THERE FOR TO SEE AN APT! I felt this was very discriminatory..b/c perhaps he didn't think we would qualify. We were very interested in this building b/c of location, and it is brand new, but we would never think about leasing w/ Dittmar after this experience.
From what I saw in the brochure information this is going to be a great place to live..just sorry it won't be us! This guy can use some customer service training and immediately

I can't say that my experience in any way echos the comments here. I am of Asian descent and never felt that any member of the staff was less than professional. In fact, many of the staff are non-white and the neighbors I've met so far are a female ------- American woman, two men of Middle Eastern descent, a Chinese lady and an Italian American grad student.

Also can't say that I've seen many male leasing staff either, just the fellow who signed me in. It is possible he has moved on since.

I too am a minority, black if you will, and chose to live here at Quincy Plaza solely b/c of how I was treated by leasing staff and/or the attentiveness of the two gentlemen working. Building is wonderfully managed and applaud your consistent customer service from your maint. staff, to your desk attendants, all the way to Carole the property manager.

What concerns me about what the previous individual said about this person being discriminatory is that this individual could of been removed b/c of this ignorant comment. It's sad that when expectations are not met, it becomes one's underlining assumption or opinion. As for me, I love living here and hope one's individual claim didn't become a valid reason for another's departure for your staff is top notch.

I'm sorry to hear that the poster had a bad experience, all I can say is the staff here was the main reason I decided to move in. Alot of other complexes were not as helpful as this staff was. To be honest I enjoyed my stay here so much that I've even put my house search on hold for awhile. I'm hoping in 4-5 yrs Dittmar will start putting up high-rise condominiums.
