Well, I moved in thinking this place would be cool but it is a frat house. I came home one night to find puke all over the elevator. When I informed the front desk, I got a "ok maam we will take care of it." He was correct, 2 days later it was taken care of. When my lease is up I am moving closer to DC!

I live at Quincy Plaza. I have never seen any thing like this in the building ever! Could it be the person who has seen this is also the one who did it!!!! As for money pit! you get what you pay for, sounds like to me someone cant afford to live at Quincy Plaza!!!!!!!!

Why would you expect a front desk employee to clean up puke? Not only could this happen at Quincy Plaza, it could happen anywhere. DON'T blame QP, people are going to act a fool in the best apts. or worse of rental dwelling.

I live at Quincy Plaza, and I have found that the staff is 100% responsive to any notice of a clean-up. Someone spilled something in the hallway, which happens in any apartment, and the entire hallway was shampooed and clean by the end of the week. As for the parties, QP/Dittmar is not tolerant of this behavior; however, they can't do anything about if it has not been reported. When it has been reported, it's taken care of. This is a great, clean and high-class apartment building and property company. There is always going to be someone who behaves poorly, but Dittmar does what they can to quelch that type of behavior.

Wow.. They are up front about the cost here. And I haven't seen this ever and I have lived here for about 10 months. That said, maintenance folks are around before dawn and until it gets dark, from what I have seen. Giving it a 1 rating sounds... either an immature person making a rash judgment or a hater.

Just because you all haven't experienced this type of stuff doesn't mean it's fantasy. It's not immature or "hating" to write up a bad review. Why are you sticking up for this company anyway? Are they paying you or providing some sort of extra benefits? The only reason someone would get defensive over a bad review is if they are on the payroll for the company. Use your head people!!
