Dittmar Company has made the Quincy Plaza into one of the nicest apartments I have ever stayed. Yes, the prices seem excessive at first glace, but consider all that is included: washer/dryer in each unit; ALL utilities included; free, garaged, secure, assigned parking; free state-of-the-art gym; pool; party room (for a refundable $300 deposit); game room with pool tables; and business office with free internet and fax. Once you consider the normal cost of utilities, parking, laundry, and gym, most value-apartments end up being just as much if not more than this apartment building.

Also, as a single girl, this building is secure! You must have a key card to 1. get into the front and side doors, 2. get into the enclosed parking garage; 3. get from the parking garage to the elevators; and 4. from what I understand, from the stairwell to any of the floors. Just don t forget that key!

The staff is very responsive. I needed something fixed, and they fixed it within 6 hours. Also, they will not enter your apartment when you are not there without your permission. Someone spilt liquid in the hallway...it's going to happen...and within a week, the entire hallway was shampooed and clean.

Also, they are very strict to make sure that only residents use the pool, gym, etc. This deters residents from turning the building into a party house. It s generally quiet with the occasional party during a holiday. If it ever gets unreasonably loud, Dittmar Company gets involved as soon as it is reported.

Dittmar Company is very easy to work with. Do a search on the recommendation rates of Dittmar Company properties vs. Charles E. Smith. Beware of Charles E. Smith properties! Even if Quincy Plaza is not for you, at least consider other Dittmar properties. Most everyone seems pleased with them.

I have been looking at all the other Dittmar properties on this site--from Virginia Sq to Sheffield-- and all of them have a bad rating. I have a peculiar feeling that the Dittmar people are going to this site and faking these reviews. I mean, ----, looking at this particular review. What REAL person writes this crap? The superlatives in this review are so obvious that it was written by Dittmar. ---- Dittmar. It's sad really. I for one will be boycotting Dittmar from my apartment search.

great joke, keep away dittmar company. They would like to charge your a big bill after your moving out even you leave the apartment very clean.
