I've lived at RT for seven years. It's an older building in an area with new construction, but the price is right. Rent increases have been 3% or less every year. The apartment (mine on 3rd floor) is VERY quiet, nice and modern but basic. Huge balconies. Maintenance is very helpful; they replaced my microwave when the door malfuntioned--no trying to cobble together a solution; they always come quickly and do a good job. Parking is underground and convenient. Metro is 2 blocks away, lots of stores, restaurants next door. Indoor pool in the fitness center, the only one in the area. Parking out back for your guests for free.

The cons: Construction is always going on outside the building somewhere (on adjacent blocks). The front desk staff is so surly it's almost funny, but they do help you solve your problems. No security--the front desk is staffed 24hrs but don't stop anyone from walking in (that said, I've never had a security problem). One of the three elevators on my side of the building has been broken for months, and someone is always moving and using one of them. If I couldn't walk up three flights, I'd be madder about it.

Obviously I've lived here 7 years and like it. I've looked at lots of other buildings in this area, and I'm not going anywhere. BuLYzGcKAVo8MQPlcXJq
