I've lived at Randolph Towers for 4 years.
First the pros -- I've looked in this area extensively at apartments, and this is the cheapest you will find within walking distance to the metro. Also, the living space is really big for what you pay. We are having trouble finding something similarly sized (because now we are spoiled from having such a huge place!)
The cons (and the reason why we are leaving) -- After being here for 4 years, we are ready for an upgrade. The kitchen appliances and finishings are really old and not very nice. Also, the elevators are a HUGE pain and sometimes we wait 5-10 min for an elevator. They are currently fixing them, but it has been a painful process.
Overall -- I would definitely recommend this apartment to someone looking to save money on rent but who still wants a large place. The location is great too. Perfect for college/graduate students or someone just starting to work.
