That's what I thought when I first moved here. After all, River House is much less expensive than EVERYTHING else around here and it's an expensive area trust me!!! But River House is nothing more than a cheap run down spot. If this is something you do not mind, then you are in luck but there are some problems.

The place is falling apart, and nobody does anything about it. My hallway smelled like rotten trash for 2 months after moving in. On a regular basis I hear screaming kids during the day and drunk college kids letting everyone know they just got home. While I enjoyed my school years, my dorm years are past me, and often times that is what I feel like I am in. The only laundry facility is this cheap joint down in the basement, and I guess when you are hardly paying anything to live there you attract clientele who could care less about the place.

I regularly see trash everywhere, and I feel at times like I am in living in a large trailer park. I never thought I would say this but, I am looking forward to paying the extra $150 per month that it would cost for me to live in a quality apartment just a few blocks. I should have known from the start.
