This review is broken down as a top 3 pro/con section -

PROS -
1. Great location - close to metro, shopping, the Pentagon and DC.
2. Utilities included in the rental rate.
3. Rent rate is reasonable.

CONS -
1. DISRESPECTFUL MANAGEMENT - Enters apartmens without notice or warning, sometimes causing damage to residents' belongings.
2. WORK HOURS/CONSTRUCTION - The building is old and continuously undergoing renovation/repairs. Work hours are supposedly 8AM-5PM, but management tends to begin projects much earlier/later (an occasionally schedules unannounced loud overnight work). What the working hours mean is that from 8AM-5PM Mon-Fri, YOU WILL HEAR HAMMERING, SAWING, SANDING, POUNDING, ETC. EVERY DAY. You won't even need an alarm!
3. PARKING - Management does not limit the number of cars each apartment can have, nor the number or issuance of visitor parking passes - the result is that the parking lots fill quickly and parking is a problem. Additionally, break-ins in the parking lot are fairly common (parking access is NOT controlled).

SUMMARY - The building, apartment and location are good, howeverm careless disrespectful management ruin this placeand make living here a continuing daily hassle.
