Senior management fundamentally doesn't understand that they are supposed to manage the building for the tenants (who pay to live here). Instead, it appears they think they manage the tenants. The apartments are great, space-wise. But they don't maintain them well. The rugs are old, matted and soiled, and they will tell you they are just fine. The closet, kitchen, and bedroom doors don't close because there are forty years of paint on them, and if you do try to close the doors, lead paint (that's right, they've got lead paint, so be careful with young children here) chips fly all over the place. Ask management to fix anything and they will treat you as if you're a crazed lunatic for not worshipping at the altar of crappy, substandard maintenance. Oh! And they just ignore that people who don't live here, including the pizza delivery guy, coattail on whoever is keying into the building. God forbid, someday there will be a rape, or worse. They bill this place as a middle-range complex for professionals, they treat it maintenance-wise as if they were running it for frat boys. If you like to be treated respectfully for your money, stay away.
