The Good:

1. Utilities are included, and the rent is reasonable for the area.
2. They have a few apartment-wide barbecues/etc. each year, and they offer donuts and coffee on Monday morning.
3. Free workout facilities and pool (in summer).
4. Surrounded by parks and recreational areas. Some of the apartments on higher levels have pleasant views.
5. Very convenient--across the street from a mall and dining, and there is a 24 hour supermarket in walking distance.

The bad:

1. They have entered the apartment completely unannouced to "fix" things.
2. The person who said someone goes around and looks at license plates in the lot so they can ticket out-of-state plates is correct. Visitors can get ticketed as well (even if they obviously have a guest parking pass and are only there for one day!).
3. Sometimes the power goes out. Also, sometimes the water will only be very hot or very cold.
4. Some pests/bugs (especially in laundry room).
5. Some of the leasing office staff are rude, even if you are there to lease an apartment!
