I've lived in two of the apartment buildings at the Riverhouse and had some difficulty transitioning from moving out of one building into the other, but all in all it wasn't a terrible experience. However, I've had many issues with the front desk staff at both buildings I have lived in. Once, I was having a pretty serious problem while I was inside of my apartment home alone and called the front desk from my cell phone for assistance. I was told that the "head engineer" was on call but off the premises (at home) so they would call him to come onsite and help me, but I was warned that it could take a significant amount of time. I felt so let down and the individual at the front desk that evening treated me horribly, like I was joking. Also, on two occasions I have left a guest parking pass and the key to my apartment at the front desk so that my guest from out of town could let themselves into my apartment while I was at work (this is Riverhouse policy). TWICE when I arrived before my guest I went to the front desk to retrieve my key and I was told that the front desk had somehow "lost" my key and could not find it (and once I had to wait until the next morning to get it back!)
Overall I really do love my apartment and the location but I avoid interacting with the Riverhouse staff at all costs (which I honestly don't think I should have to do....)
