RiverHouse was highly recommended to me by a friend who had been living here for 3-4 years. (She has also moved out now, too.) I have lived at RiverHouse for the past three years and have finally decided to leave and FAST... I just gave my last check of overpriced rent to Kettler, the new management. My biggest complaint is the rent and newly increased fees.

When I first moved in, the outside parking was free, which has increased 2-3 times since I moved in. The rent has also steadily increased dramatically each year, and Kettler is now phasing in utilities (which used to be included). My studio would probably be costing me close to $1300 a month if I stayed, and for what' There are are newer buildings with better amentities that are worth looking into. (ex. laundry in the unit, showers that drain properly, full sized kitchen appliances, A/C and heat that are modern and up to date, paint that isn't peeling off the walls, etc.)

Also, before Kettler, after a one year lease, you automatically went month to month, since RiverHouse apartments USED to be a great deal and hard to come by. Now if you go month to month, you'll be paying for it as Kettler is trying to trap as many residents here as possible since it is NO LONGER a good deal at all.

I highly recommend searching elsewhere for a place to call "home."
