Please stop lying whoever you are( see next review). You must be one of the board members or the manager.
This building have an enormous amount of problems, and neither the manager or the board does anything about it.
The board only respond to their own interest, since most of them own several units, so whatever is beneficial for their units they act.
Manager, (Mrs. Eva Braun), the most horrible person that you can find. Will treat you as a second class citizen, especially if you are other race than white.....
Believe me, go to the others River Place buildings, they are much better than this dump. Read the other comments posted here, they are more real than the next one.
I just got out of the building after living there for 5 yrs. The have a pathetic bed bug infestation, and people are throwing all their furniture away.
They have also a rats infestation problem, please go by the building and see al the poison boxes outside. Noise is also an alarming problem, even though repairs are not allowed on Sunday, there is always some sort of construction going on, and is always the same contractor, who happens to be friend with the manager.( I am not surprised)
Stay away from this place, trust me, if you don't believe me, stop by and talk to other residents in person, they will tell you the truth...

I have lived off and on at River Place East since 1996 and find it to be a welcoming, comfortable, and convenient place to be in the DC area. It has a professional international community and the Management and Board have always been responsible to any of my requests. It is well maintained both inside and out. I have never seen any of the conditions reported by a previous writer. I am an owner-resident and will continue to live here without reservation.
