I only go to the office when there is a problem. Management, if they can, fix my problems. When they can't it is because it is down to my landlord (units are individually owned and quality of landlord is sheer luck) or to the board. Board of Directors however is so punitive and money grubbing that they clearly are the crux of many of the problems that exist. I have been told, "the board makes the policy and management enforces the policy." So those ladies get stuck having to explain crappy policies to you lot and then get the grief.

Place is old and needs lots of TLC. the board does try with that, maybe that is why they are so money grubbing. seems lots of owners don't care.

I hear a lot about bedbugs and asked management what was the board going to do about it. Board says it is up to the landlord, bedbugs are not sanitary issue. if i think I have them i have to tell them so the problem does not spread. hard to prove where they came from though from research on web. I asked Arlington County landlord tenant office they say it is responsibility of landlord. if you ask me board making bad policy and lazy landlords who want to shift responsibility at evrey turn is the only problem there is.
