River Place North is a very convenient place to live, as other postings describe. You cannot beat the location in terms of convenience. However, the un-renovated apartments are plagued by roaches (of different varieties!) as they sneak in through plumbing entrances, air vents, and through the doors (doors are not well-sealed).

Also, perhaps related, is that the trash chutes get clogged quite often, leading to piles of trash backing up the chute, and piling up in the trash chute room in the hallway. Quite a common occurence on weekends.

Kitchens are indeed quite small, and this is coming from someone that does not cook much in the first place. I barely have room for a microwave.

It might be a decent building if you're on a budget crunch, and you work in the area, due to the convenient location. But otherwise, if you can put down an extra 100-200$ a month, keep looking.

Parking in the garagae (indoors) is convenient, and secure. The 100$ I paid for parking is actually okay for the DC area.
