There is nothing to like about Riverplace.
The elevators are always broken.

The parking spaces are so miserably small that my mirror has been knocked off three times.

The fitness center was supposed to re-open. They haven't even gotten approval from the county to start the construction.

The front desk person is so incomprehensibly rude, that I avoid leaving until the night person takes over. The management people are ridiculous. I work from 8-6, as I'm guessing most people do. They are never available since they are only there from 9-5. They are also rude, unhelpful, and I question the fact that they even speak English.

It's a gated community in theory. I've never had them ask me if I live in Riverplace or what my business there is before entering. They just open the gate arm.

The shower is terrible. It has never drained properly and is either scalding or freezing.

Speaking of freezing, paid utilities sound like a fantastic deal, until you find out that the apartment is climate controlled. It is so unbearably hot during the winter that you will see every window in the complex open. In the summer it is so cold that I sleep in my ski pants.

Hope you don't like to cook. The fire alarm goes off every time I try to use my oven.

Also, hope you don't have friends. I had a friend helping me move in. Her car had a tag that said she could park on the loading dock. She got the boot anyway. It was $25. She appealed it; we even showed the hang tag. She never got an answer.

Overall, this is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. You are making the world's biggest mistake if you move in.
