I wonder if the other people aren't used to living in a city building. Yes, the places are small. Yes the heat and air are not on a normal thermostat control, but you can adjust them - you just have to have a screwdriver or call management and have them do it. And, sorry whiners, but almost all apartments have management hours from 9-5, but they have a box where you can put in a request after hours, and they're very responsive, always done by the time I get home the next day.
Parking is a problem everywhere in DC, no diffrerent here. you can pay $60 a month for an extra spot if you want one for your friends. It sucks, but any complex close in to DC has the same problem.
If you think "there's nothing good about River Place," I feel sorry for you. You are going to be miserable for a long long time. Notice how no one complained about roaches and mice' That's because there aren't any. Move to another place this inexpensive. I dare you. You'll be counting the days until you can move back to River Place - the absolute best location, on the metro, walk to Georgetown, for this price. Are you kidding' What's not to love'

I dont know what u thinking, but i had lived in city all my life, and most of the office are open til 7 pm.. nowadays.. Come on.. get out more.. maybe u will know better.
