I haven't taken the time to read a lot of the other reviews, but from the percentages and titles they don't look too good. Keep in mind when reading these reviews that people normally only come on here to ----- and moan, not to say good things.I have had an excellent stay in riverplace south for the past 2 years. Perhaps it's hit or miss depending on your landlord (most units are individually-owned), but the only issue I had in the two years was a backed up sink, which was fixed very easily. I can also count the number of bugs I have seen in my place on one hand, and it was likely from my windows being open. I have NEVER seen any rodents, nor spoken with people who have, although I don't frequent the basement or stairwells so I can't speak for those. A/C heat is not controllable but the place it plenty cool enough in the summer, and hot enough in the winter (I opened windows to even out the temp). You can't beat the location at all, although Rosslyn is rather dull after work hours. The parking situation is rather ridiculous, but I don't have a car and don't need one being so close to the metro. The walls in riverplace south are thick concrete and I have never heard my neighbors. I also have never had any trouble dealing with the management when I need something (which wasn't very often). Overall, I had a great experience and am only leaving because I want a more exciting area in DC and roommates.
