I've been living here for almost a year and I'm very happy with the place. The rent is very affordable and the building is quiet. The area, while not super-trendy, is at least safe and you can walk around at night without worrying about getting mugged. Parking is extremely easy, and if you need to commute to Tysons by driving or downtown via metro both options are relatively fast and simple. The Ballston stop is about a three minute walk (you can see the building from it) and the Virginia Square-GMU stop is probably five.

Management is pretty good, though you don't have the 24 hr concierge service you would get at another complex. Most of the time when something is broken it gets fixed pretty fast.

The individual units are clean and well-maintained. Like I said, they aren't snazzy, but this is a very good place for someone who wants all of the benefits of living in the city with very fair and affordable rent. The apartments that are within a stone's throw of the building charge at least $600.00 more a month for the same style floorplan.

Overall, I would recommend this apartment building to anyone who wants to save on rent but still have the benefits of living in a safe part of the metro area.
