The Hampton used to be a bit crappy but over the past 18 months HUGE improvements have been made and it ROCKS! :-) The new manager John is amazing and the staff he hires is just as great.
Friendly and personable! In this pet friendly complex, you'll find spacious floor plans which are the best value in the area by $300 or more compared to its neighbors.
Street parking is a bit crummy and I don't agree with some of the new decor but this place is on its way up.
I recommend this place to anyone new in the area.
I will admit the old manager was horrible and didn't do anything but I am so pleased with the management, maintance, and overall building.
I rarely hear my neighbors and the common areas are well kept.
The staff here does everything they can to ensure a pleasant living environment including holding community meetings and events, offering breakfasts a few times a month and overall meriment.

I completely agree with this comment. The previous interim management had some issues, but John and his team have really exceeded my expectations. The new decor is a great addition, the new elevators work great and the common areas are pristine. It's nice to have a management team that takes a personal interest in the property. Just look at how they decorate the place for holidays or put cookies, etc in the lobby on special days when they had coffee and donuts for the morning commute. When a management team holds a breakfast for residents staying in Arlington over Christmas, you know they care.
I've lived at the Hampton for 4 years. My one bedroom is spacious, the service has been great and I love the place. It is cheaper than other buildings in the area. Yes, it's not brand new construction. It's an old building, but the construction is better and the place is a great place to live.
