This is a great building for the following reasons:

1. LOCATION--across from the Virginia Square Metro (only a 5-minute ride into DC, 5 minute walk to a large grocery store, 10-15 minute walk to Ballston Mall, 10-25 minute walk to Clarendon and Courthouse areas, and just short of a mile from a really nice high school track (for any runners out there).

2. THE APARTMENTS THEMSELVES--very modern with really nice kitchens and balconies (or porches, if you are like me and on the first floor). Also has carpeting. The studios are more like junior one bed-rooms. Very sound proof (I live next to the game room and hardly ever hear anything).

3. NICE STAFF--The staff here is really nice. Unless there is something I don't know about, I'd dismiss the remarks from those complaining about the young staff being unprofessional. So the one guy has cool hair (if that's what unprofessional means), they are always polite and responsive. They are down-to-earth which is what I like. And the older gentleman that seems to work the front desk a lot is exceedingly kind. I don't see any reason for complaint.

I admit that this place is a bit pricey but they cut me a good deal (and hopefully they won't jack up the rent at the end of my lease because I'd really like to stay here). You also get a lot of bang for your buck (underground parking, washer/dryer, gym, game room, and utilities are included in the cost).

If you are debating whether to move here, I'd suggest this place.
