Virginia Square Plaza is a well-built, well-kept building.
VSP is not a cheap place to live, though the the inclusion of utilities for free (electric, water) and a free month's rent make it much easier to handle. If you cannot bring yourself to pay $80/mo. for cable, they have a master antennae you can plug your TV into.
The apartments themselves, while not enormously spacious square-foot wise, use the space efficiently. The A/C works well and the fixtures, floor tile and appliances are of high quality. While there is a walk-in closet, the one thing the apartment lacks is adequate closet space, but storage lockers are available in the basement at a nominal charge. The walls between apartments are made of cinderblocks and very little, if any, sound gets through.
The parking is fine -- while the spots are narrow, they're not ridiculously so. One spot is included free w/ the apartment and the other at a monthly rate (lower than many other apartments we looked at).
The office staff is really, really good. They basically bent over backwards to make it easy for us to move into the building. Since my fiancee and I had different lease terms, we had to stash her furniture somewhere for a month, and they let us use a storage locker at VSP. They've basically accomodated any request we have with a smile.
The facilities are nice -- a game room, exercise room and community room are available for use. Unfortunately, no pool.
I know I sound like an advertisement for the building, but it really is that good. After living in some of the other apartment complexes around here, this really is a good place to live. SEk1KnECheF1ATXbXtrZ
