The SAME DAY a negative review was written, there was a response, seemingly written by staff at VS, probably this "emperor" herself. VS clearly watches these reviews every day and possibly writes MANY of them themselves. And notice her attitude towards the complaint: then get out if you don't like it. We are currently looking for a new place in the area, have visited VS, but will probably look elsewhere. I agree with your observation that someone at the management staff is writing a lot of the glowing reviews after a negative one. I live in the building and I can't wait for my lease to end. While it is nice to breathe everyone cigarette smoke, that is a "feature" I can do without. If you want CANCER, VS is the place for you.

Who are you people? Do you live in a different building than me? Are you an ex boyfriend of the manager or something? Everyone I know loves this apartment. The management and facilities are more than anyone could expect for the price.
