Not such a bad place

This is to set the record straight for other readers. Washington & Lee gets 0, none, nada, money from the cars towed from this property. The cost for towing is $85.00 and if they are charged more should be reporting it to the office.
The rule about not walking on the grass was set in place by a manager some 20 years ago, because when she took over the property did indeed look like a ghetto due to paths and lack of grass. It is now still in place due to the high costs of grounds maintenance and over-all appeal to prospective tenants.
There are 369 units at Washington & Lee. The people who are complaining are but a minute % of the overall population. As to roaches and mold: Extermination is free to all tenants on a weekly basis if they take responsibility to call the office about a problem; mold is not acceptable and again all that is required is to place a call to the office requesting painting and maintenance.
Management is rude and hostile when they are treated the same. It is a defensive prosture taken due to years of dealing with irrate, over-emtional, belligrerent tenants in their faces.
If you want a resonably priced apartment with no frills and excellent maintenance staff, this is the place for you. If you want to party down or want a whole lot for a little---look somewhere else.
