I didn't have quite as many problems with the staff as some other reviewers, though I will agree that friendliness was in short supply. I never heard about a 14-visit limit, and my boyfriend stayed over quite often, but the parking situation does make it very tricky to have guests. I can't say the rule surprises me - the ones I did learn about seemed fairly patronizing. Also, notices about maintenance visits were typically last-minute, so if you got home late, you'd be emptying out your bathroom or bedroom at midnight so the maint. staff could patch the wall from an upstairs plumbing leak. Fortunately, the maint. staff were VERY friendly - one guy even knocked on our door one morning to warn that he had seen brake fluid leaking from my roommate's truck. That could have been a close one!

I will warn that the ROACH problem there is SERIOUS. My roommate and I tried removing trash every morning, washing dishes as soon as we were done with them, using roach baits/egg stoppers, and still there would be roaches and roach droppings. I even found one crawling around in my underbed sweater box! This was a problem for the last two years we lived there - I never saw a single roach the first couple years of residence. Whatever measures the management was taking to solve the roach problem were NOT working!

Safety: Well, someone cut the lock off & stole my bike that was in the "secure" laundry room area, a load of my laundry was stolen, and someone broke into and tried to steal my boyfriend's car just outside the parking lot.

If you can spare an extra $100-$200 for rent a month, I'd say go someplace else - at least until there's better management in place. And keep a "tow fund" in case your inspection or county sticker lapses - mine got lost in the mail (oh yes - the mail service is TERRIBLE at W&L!!) and while I was waiting for a replacement, I got towed, then ticketed *twice* for parking on the street instead.
