If you can afford to, live somewhere else.

The stories about the roaches are absolutely true. The stories about power outtages are true. There have been four total blackouts, and counting.
I live in a basement apartment, which is fine, except after three days of steady rain I ended up with an inch of water in my bedroom.
I can deal with roaches and blackouts, but I want to be dry.
If you want to know more about the management see what others have posted. Some is exagerrated, but Sandra is NOT pleasant to have to deal with.
I really did have to pay $1520.00 for a security deposit (SD) because I could not provide references from my last landlord, which was in Chicago, so my SD was doubled.
The laundry is decent, but $1.50 a wash and $1.50 a dry is a bit much since the driers don't always dry everything thoroughly, even when it is a few articles. This sign was posted in the laundry room:
TO WHOEVER KEEPS URINATING IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM PLEASE STOP IMMEDIATELY. -MANAGEMENT
It was in both english and spanish.
I haven't problems beyond the roaches and water stuff to complain of, just normal apartment things. I keep to myself and no one bothers me.
