If you like roaches... you'll LOVE W&L apartments

I've been in this building for about a year now and I cannot wait for my lease to expire. Parking is fine, the tenants are fine, maintenance is wonderful. The leasing office is fine as well, though a bit rude. But there are two problems in this apartment that I cannot stand. THE HEAT in the summer. There are two small AC units that don't even begin to cool the apartment. It is sweltering in the summer. So, ok maybe you can deal with the heat in the summer... but then you have to deal with all the company you'll receive in the winter.
I kid you not when I say my apartment has an infestation of roaches. They come out at night, but when you turn on the light in the kitchen you are sure to be greeted by anywhere from 10-20 scattering roaches. We have sprayed Raid all over our kitchen. We've bought traps and plug-ins. We clean our apartment religiously, and have maintenance come spray the apartment regularly. Nothing will get rid of them. Apart from spraying the leasing office has done nothing to help get rid of the problem. Our kitchen is completely useless. Better yet, we are now finding them in our bathroom. I'm supposing our kitchen is too toxic. The last straw that made me right this review was when I saw one crawling on my bathroom sink... AROUND MY TOOTHBRUSH. STAY AWAY IF YOU CAN!!!!!!!!

I'm having the same exact problem that you are! We keep calling the mgmt about the roaches, and they do nothing about it! They send an "exterminator," but I wouldn't even call him that b/c the guy just keeps putting roach gel down.
This place definitely needs to be tented and gassed with pesticide...and you & I both know that they don't care enough to take serious action like this.

Oh I know. They absolutely don't care at all. It's completely awful. My roommate and I have started finding roaches in our bedrooms since I put that post up. They're now officially in ever room of our apartment. It's absolutely maddening to spend money every month on a roach infested apartment. I wonder if there is a way to report the W&L to the Better Housing Bureau or some other organization? Our apartment is becoming a health hazard with bugs crawling everywhere. I know for a fact that it is at least ruining my mental health!

Yes, I have some ideas about what to do. Email me at Delta2713@gmail.com and I'll explain in more detail.
The best thing for us to do is to report this in groups, so it can't be written off as an isolated incident.
