Inexpensive and simple accomodations

I enjoy living at Washington and Lee. The one bedroom apartments are simple and appropriately priced. Compared to other apartment complexes in the area W & L is a bargain.
The kitchen is small, but adequate for a single person. I couldn't imagine tryign to cook for a family though. Maintenance is taken care of quickly, even on the weekends.
Parking is a problem. There is plenty of parking, but it is difficult to get parking passes for guests, especially if it's last minute or on the weekends. The office closes at 4:30, which is too early to accomodate people coming home from work.
Laundry facilities are terrible. Some of the washing machines are broken. Some of the dryers don't dry your clothes completely. You have to use trial and error finding the machines that work, and that's a waste of money and time if the machine breaks when you have a load in the washer. I recommend using a laundromat. The washers and dryers are $1.50 per load.
The buildings are relatively quiet. Although I often hear my neighbor's child screaming through the walls. Most of the time, it is peaceful.
