I've lived in W&L for 1 year. It definitely has its plus and minuses. I'm moving when my lease is up because I desire a place with better amenities, but depending on your needs this may be the place for you.
The Good: great price for the area, 15min. walk to metro and Clarendon area, nice landscaping, quiet area, quick response from maintenance, nice flooring, all utilites included, no pet deposit or rent
The Bad: ROACHES (no matter how clean you are they keep coming back!), no central air, no garbage disposal, must walk to laundry room (recommend laundromat)and dumpster, not the best parking for guests (they tow after 6pm sometimes a little before)
A lot of people said negative comments about mangement. I can only speak for myself , I've never had an issue with anyone in the office. They have always been nice and courteous to me. At times the manager can be a little curt, but as long as you are respectful I don't have an issue.
If you are looking for something simple and inexpensive move here. If you want a little more shop around before you settle.
