I have lived with my husband at Water Park Towers for 2 years and was very pleased to call it home. We moved into a 1 bedroom 1 bath. It was very spacious and loved the washer and dryer. It was so close to the metro--which is great when you are trying to get to work in a hurry. Plus the walk to the metro is through the Crystal City Underground--so you don't have to walk too much in the cold. The apartment os great--a little dated on some appliances but if they were broke the maintience man was here to fix it promptly.
Although the apartments are close to the airport it is not a bother at all. Plus there is the Mount Vernon trail close by which is a nice walk. The waterfalls next door is great too.
Management is nice. They throw parties here for the residents about 3 times a year--a nice way to meet the other residents.
They renovated the gym and put all new equipment with individual tv sets--very nice.
My husband and I would love to stay here but we just had a baby and the 1 bedroom is getting way to cramped and now that I am not working and it is too expensive to stay.
I would say the only draw back to this place is the price but when you think about the location you have to factor that in. I will really miss it here and highly recommend it.
