Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2005
On a scale of 1-5 (5 being very good) of apt. communities in Arlington, this one is a high '2'. I agree with one of the previous reviewers re: the laundry room (" filled with old washing machines that routinely flood the laundry room floor") and the parking lot ("always inundated with roving packs of kids who fearlessly ride their bikes and rollerblades").
Since the management change in 2003, I believe the new staff are sincere in trying to make this a better place and there have been improvements (new elevators; enforcement of using the trash chutes in the Trash Rooms vs. leaving the trash on the floor, etc.), but other areas are still problematic - the laundry rooms, enforcement of adequate carpeting (& padding), enforcement of noise levels after 10 p.m.
I'm glad I'm on month-to-month and will be leaving as soon as possible!
