To start with, I've lived in the complex for a few years now, mainly because I was sick and tired of moving every year. That said, I am desperately desperately ready to go now (I've had enough). The greatest advantage to the building is obviously the location next to 395 and Washington Blvd. That said, there are massive problems with security (doors and parking gates are always open), cleansliness (ditto on the laundry facilities, which actually became more expensive if you believe that!), and the thinness of walls. Sure that's a fact of life in most apartments, but it goes to some pretty silly lengths here.
Basically, if you're looking for dirt cheap (for the area) and the smell of Indian/Korean/Spanish cooking it works well enough. If you can afford it try somewhere else though. The location isn't really good enough to justify the hassles. I wonder if they could sell it, tear it down, and rebuild it with "millions" being spent on renovations... just a thought.
