Great deal, nice apartments

I've lived here since January, and so far am pleased with the Wellington. They completely renovated the apartment before we moved in, all new appliances, carpet, etc. There is a lot of square footage for the money ($1489 for a two bedroom) and the location is GREAT. You won't find a nicer apartment at this price in this location. The residents here are nice, too, mainly young professionals, college students, younger families.

The hallways and common areas are always very clean, there aren't people just hanging out in stairwells and such. Parking is great and I feel very safe walking in from my car late at night. There is not a lot of guest parking, however. The laundry room is nice, with all new machines - the only way this could be better is if there were washer/dryers in the apartments. It's also kind of expensive ($1.75 per wash or dry) but better than going to a laundromat.

There is an exercise room, but it is very small and usually crowded in the evenings - I hear they're putting in a new gym, but they haven't given a timeline for that yet. There's also a convenience store in the middle building, which is nice if you need something quickly.

I've only seen the occasional spider in the apartment, but this is not to say that there are never bug infestations here - any time you live in an apartment building there is a risk of that because of how some people choose to live.

Maintenance is very friendly and usually they come the same day (I've only had to call them once or twice for minor things). I can hear my neighbors upstairs sometimes, but it is nothing really obtrusive, and is also to be expected in any apartment building.

All in all, I am very pleased with the Wellington. The only reason I would ever move in the future is to go to a building that is aesthetically more attractive (this building is a 1970's brown box, basically) and has more luxury amenities.
