I have been living here since October 2008 and have overall been very happy. The only negative experience I had was the first weekend I moved in I left my keys in the door by accident and someone stole them. The staff was amazing, however, and even though it was a Sunday, the maintenance came by and switched my locks and he also noticed that my chain didn't work so he promised to come by on the Monday and change that. I didn't actually believe he would remember, but when I returned home from work on the Monday, the chain had been fixed and he had added another bolt. The staff in the leasing office was also great and even gave me a new building key for free because they felt so badly for me (normally the keys cost $100).
The whole process of moving in was great. I worked with Tanya in the leasing office who was so nice and really working to find what was best for me. The renovations in the apartments are fantastic. New appliances, carpet, heating systems...Every one of my friends who has come by has just fallen in love with the apartment. It's so spacious and warm.
I would say that the laundry room would be a downside for most people because there is only one in the building. I happen to live right next to it, so it's great for me. It's definitely an area where you would need a car. There is free parking in the gated lot; however, it would be great if they had a garage or inside parking available.
My only other gripe is that while pets are allowed, there is a $400 NON-refundable "deposit" per pet and your rent rises as well per pet. So to get 2 kittens would cost you $800 that you will never get back and an extra $70 or so in rent each month. If the deposit were refundable, it would be more reasonable.

There is covered parking available for an additional monthly fee of about $50 or $60.
The deposits for animals should be higher. Why would someone want to live in an apartment with a carpet that has been lived on by an animal? Just makes for smelly buildings.
